A couple of weeks ago, I invited a friend, Melissa, who was my Seventeen Magazine Queen of Queen's 2010 fellow pageant contestant (and winner!) to come by Chop for a meal! She was saying that she wanted to come by, and so I duly invited her! She came with her boyfriend, and it was a great chance for us to catch up. They're so entertaining and we all had a good time! My boyfriend taught him how to make a coffee with the coffee machine too. Here's her actual blog post:
"I’ve got a food review I’ve been dying to share with everyone:

very chill setting. perfect for a date with your significant other. or even with a big group of friends as a get together.

This is one of the best milkshakes i’ve had, honestly. Not too heavy or sweet. Somehow not into vanilla or chocolate milkshakes anymore because it fills you up real fast. This was a mixed berries smoothie
(yippee!! my fav too :D i drink this EVERY SINGLE TIME i go there. my friends have had RAVE reviews about the drink too. mixed berries smoothie ftw!!!)

Jon loved his ice lemon tea too!

this was the mixed platter we could choose from.

and here’s a close up:
my sambal sausages! LOVEEEEE THIS ONE! I think Jon couldn’t stop raving about the sambal sauce.

mixed wedges!

it could be complimented with sour cream and bacon bits! i’m not a fan of sour cream though so I had my wedges with ketchup.

The duck salad was amazing!!!!! This is definitely a must try.

Jon doesn’t eat mushrooms, so I had this all to myself! One of my top favourites! MUST TRY!!!!!!!!!!!! The melted cheese on top made it so perfect.

You’ll be spoilt for choice:

In addition to all that, we shared a roast beef sandwich. I’m definitely gonna order again when I go back.

there’s melted creamy cheddar cheese inside! NOM NOMZ.

Hopefully, I’ll get to try their other sandwiches too!

ended my meal with the waffle which was oh-so-delicious! i was almost at my brim. I had to loosen my belt but I could not stop eating. @JonathanRaedeke could not stop laughing at me. But seriously he was worse. He had to pull his pants up to his waist so his fats will not spill over. NOW TELL ME WHO’S WORSE? Spilling over fats or just ONE BIG TUMMY?
If you’re looking for a place to pass time in the afternoon, over a cup of coffee. CHOP has one of the coolest coffee makers ever! Maybe I’m just sua ku but I was really impressed that the coffee was just not like any other ordinary machine made coffee. Jon was experimenting with it, and it actually turned out really yummy! I’m not a fan of coffee, but I must say, this one is really pretty good.
Lijia, I don’t know what I ordered but pls make the same thing for me if I need coffee when I go back the next time okay? This is the only other kind of coffee I will drink other than Espresso. (which i usually gulp down like medicine).

Steaming the milk

Btw, they do serve brunch too. And it’s apparently really popular on weekends!
